 In a dark and troubled world, let us hold those things that concern us in the light of Christ, the Word that was in the beginning and whose life is the light of all.

May the Church, which is the Body of Christ, spread his light in the world. Let us hold our congregations our ministers and ourselves in the light of Christ as we seek to do his work.

Jesus called forth Lazarus from the dead and declared ‘I am the resurrection and the life.’ We entrust the departed and ourselves to his care.

Merciful Father, accept these prayers for the sake of your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ.
