Christ Church has adopted the Safeguarding Policy “Promoting a safer church” as recommended by our Diocese of Leeds. We have an established and growing Junior Church, and we prioritise the need for a safe environment for our youngsters, and indeed for everyone.

Christ Church has also adopted the Church of England’s policy on responding to safeguarding concerns, as described in the document on the Church of England website here.

“Protecting All God’s Children” – the 2010 document which formed the basis for policies adopted by the Diocese and its Parishes. Now superseded by “Promoting a Safer Church”, it is still a useful document.
